Night Camping at Asthanmarg Srinagar

Asalmualaikum
 Dear Readers.

First of all I am thankful for choosing my travel blog to read.

INTRODUCTION:
It was Saturday & I wanted to make Vlog for my youtube channel Waju The traveller badly, On Friday I planned to visit Doidhpathri Budgam for Night Camping, but at the end moment my friends dumped & i was stucked at office on Saturday. But I knew my best friend tasaduq will come to Srinagar & we will go somewhere for the Night camping, He joined me By 5:30pm & we went for the night camping.

HOW WE DECIDED THE DESTINATION:
We used Google to aeeach the nearby camping sites in Srinagar, we couldn't find any. & I remember of my friend he is traveller pro.. I made him a call & asked about the plan.. He suggested me 3 destinations. Khymber, mamneth & Asthanmarg. We choosed Khymber cause it was the nearest, we were already late..
Point: whenever we are going for Night Camping or want to travel any place, research properly & ask the one who had been there already.

TRANSPORT :
You Have to use self mode of transport as it will save your time & can take your stuffs for the stay.

ROADS:
Roads are good halfway & Rough after off road. It will give u joy of being travelling on offbeat road.

THINGS TO TAKE AT CAMPING:
You Just need to take basic things during camping like Tent, sleeping bag, 1 stove, eatery stuff, 1 Jacket, 1Rain coat. & battery or powebank.

MY STORY OF UNPLANNED TRIP:
Hi, As I already mentioned the plan in introduction. I will start here from after that. We started our trip to Khymber & on the way we had famous mawa with falooda icecream it was delicious.
After reaching Khymber by 8 pm we have been told by the locals it's not permissible to do camping there as recently there was new police camp established there.
We took a new route to Asthanmarg. We had a joy . It was already 9om & we were still figuring out the place to settle our tent⛺, After reaching Asthan marg by 9 pm, we reached at the top but there were noone without b2 of us... Roads were rough & dangerous. 1 mistake & we are down Through  the side  road.
It was beautiful 🤩, we were witnessing the city from the top.it was beautiful. I wish you could see through my eyes. It was like, I was in the sky & stars were beneath me.  We   covered little distance by walk. And spent 45 minutes enjoying the view. After that we decided bro go back to our place. We cancelled the program as it was not wise decision to spent night there in dense place without informing anyone.

So we moved back by 11 :30 reached to room , had dinner & slept.

tourist place jammu & kashmir - Visiting Shahdara Sharief Rajouri

                                 SHAHDARA SHARIEFF!

Asalamualaikum! On 21 sept 2018 friday, friends from tourism department decided to visit shahdara sharief . we contributed 200 from each of us for usage purpose like travel fair, meal etc. it was our first h&t group trip. It took us 45-50mins to reach there from rajouri market by sumo.

Construction of Maqbara/Tomb Death of Baba (R.A)

Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah( R.A) remained for about 41 years at Shahdara Sharief between 1765 AD to 1806 AD and meditated in solitude (Chila). He left for his heavenly abode in January 1806 A.D i.e. 1226 Hijri(Inna Lilla Hay Wa Inna Ale Hay Raajeoon). In this way Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah, stayed for 5 years at BandiChechyan, some months at Bandyan, 5 years at Lasana and Sanai, 7 years 9 months at ShahiSattar and Kalaban, 2years at PatodiDaraba and 41years at Shahdara Sharief totalling 73 years of age and it is believed that Baba Sahib (R.A) was in his prime youth about 32 years when he reached at Shahdara Sharief. It is said that Baba Sahib (R.A) got constructed the Tomb Maqbra during his life time from a craftsman of Multan. It is also said that Baba Sahib (R.A) came in the dream of Multani craftsman and directed him to reach Shahdara Sharief. He first went to Lahore Shahdara now in Pakistan. He was however, again advised to reach Shahdara Sharief in Rajouri, Kashmir. Ultimately craftsman reached the Darbar of Baba Sahib (R.A) and constructed the Maqbra which was completed in 1804 A.D i.e. 1224 Hijri

                                                       legendry evergreen tree (sada phal)

It is said that once Baba sahib was sitting close to the "Much" (burning fire) and a piece of wood was not catching fire i.e. (It did not burn at all ) Baba sahib became angry and threw that piece of wood saying if you cannot burn keep on fruiting (Baldi Nahin Te phaldi Ro) and ultimately this piece of wood grew in to an evergreen fruit plant which bears fruits and leaves throughout the year and is not affected at all by a change in season.
